2020 Toyota Highlander Hybrid
July 29 2020, Summerside Toyota
The most recent addition to the Toyota vehicle line-up, the Highlander has been completely redesigned for 2020. Although a new generation, Toyota still offers the Highlander in a hybrid version.
The 2020 Toyota Highlander Hybrid is equipped with a new generation self-charging hybrid-electric powertrain that offers the best fuel efficiency in its class with a combined fuel consumption rating of 6.7 L/100 km.
The 2020 Highlander Hybrid achieves this consumption thanks to its 2.5-litre 4-cylinder Atkinson cycle engine, high-torque electric motor-generators and a continuously variable transmission (eCVT). The whole powertrain develops 243 horsepower.
The all-new 2020 Highlander is the best Highlander ever produced. Built on the revolutionary platform of Toyota's new global architecture (TNGA), the 3-row SUV offers improved performance as well as incredible smoothness and silence.
In addition, a host of technologies designed to simplify your daily life is available in the Highlander 2020, such as the presence, on certain models, of Connected Services by Toyota, Safety Connect, Service Connect, Remote Connect and Destination Assist.
For 2020, the Highlander Hybrid is available in four separate versions - LE AWD, XLE AWD, Limited AWD and Platinum AWD - for a sale price varying between $45,490 and $55,990.
Toyota's new sport utility vehicle is the perfect blend of space and fuel economy. With 1,150 litres of cargo space behind the 2nd row, and even 2,076 litres when all the seats are lowered, paired with the best fuel efficiency in its class, you cannot miss the 2020 Toyota Highlander Hybrid.
